Making a tape template...

Making a tape template of the head is easy following the instructions below :

You will need:

Make sure your head and hair are clean and free of oils.

Place a long sheet of saran wrap / cling film on your head, long enough to wrap under your chin with wrap to spare.

Pull down and smooth out the top as much as you can, it does not have to be perfect.

Smooth the sides and pull under the chin, secure by tying the ends into a knot

Start with long strips of tape going from the back to the front (or front to back).

Start in the middle and work your way out to the sides, smoothing down each layer. Make 3 layers.
Next do the same thing from one side to the other.
Make 3 layers.
You should end up with a head full of smooth tape.

Marking out the template :

Take a marker pen and draw the shape

You need to cover the bald area.

Note the hairline normally starts 3 to 4  finger widths above the eyebrows

Remove the template and cut out around your perimeter drawing.

Complete the template:

To complete take off the head and cut to final shape, Indicate which is front and back,Indicate crown location (If Any) And hair direction (optional)

And most important put your name clearly on the template.
